Winter Tee Time Offers

Scottish Golf is delighted that members of Scottish Golf affiliated clubs are once again being given the opportunity to play some of the country’s most famous Open and Scottish Open Championship venues at preferential green fee rates. With support from Muirfield, Prestwick, Royal Troon and Castle Stuart, proceeds from all tee-off time sales will go towards the development of junior golf in Scotland.

Due to the popularity of these offers, a ballot system will be in operation, so to make sure you are in with a chance of enjoying a memorable golfing experience, register your details on one or more of the courses below via the relevant online forms before 5pm on Friday 23rd October.

What if I’m successful in the ballot?

You are limited to one application per course, with the option of selecting multiple dates, giving you the best chance of success in the ballot. Booking is subject to the terms and conditions set out by each club and Scottish Golf.

To be eligible for this special offer, the lead player in each group must be a member of a Scottish Golf affiliated club. If you are successful, you will receive notification of your allocated date no later than Tuesday 27th October with an online form to complete your payment.

Castle Stuart

Following great golfer feedback, Scottish Golf is delighted to have teamed up with four-time Scottish Open host venue, Castle Stuart Golf Links again to provide exclusive discount to members of Scottish Golf affiliated clubs this winter.

In its second year, our partnership will provide golf club members the opportunity to take advantage of a limited number of discounted green fees between 4th – 12th November 2020 before the course closes for winter.

Muirfield

The world-famous East Lothian links has hosted The Open Championship on no fewer than 16 occasions, the most recent of which was in 2013 when Phil Mickelson clinched his first Claret Jug in dramatic style with one of the best back nines in Open history. A memorable experience is guaranteed, and we have one four-ball tee-time available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from November through to the end of March priced at £300.

Prestwick

A must-play course for every golf enthusiast, Prestwick hosted the first ever Open Championship in 1860. A course steeped in history, Ernie Els states that it is one of the best golfing experiences in the world. You can enjoy a four-ball at Prestwick with tee-times available every Monday from November through to the end of March for £280.

Royal Troon

Host to nine Open Championships, few have been more memorable than Henrik Stenson’s titanic battle with Phil Mickelson in 2016 when the Swede’s final round 63 gave him his first Major. Now you can take on your own challenge at Troon which recently hosted the AIG Women’s Open. Tee-times are available on the first Tuesday of each month throughout the winter, at £300 per four-ball.

The Renaissance Club

Following a successful partnership last year, Scottish Golf is delighted to announce that the national governing body for Golf in Scotland has teamed up with VisitScotland and The Renaissance Club to offer all members of Scottish Golf affiliated clubs an exclusive opportunity to take advantage of preferential green fee rates this winter at The Renaissance Club on Scotland’s stunning Golf Coast in East Lothian.

Golf club members will have the chance to tee it up at this year’s stunning Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish and Ladies Scottish Open host venue to provide golfers with the chance of walking the same fairways as some of the biggest names in golf.

To book a winter tee-off time at The Renaissance Club, please note that due to current travel restrictions in place from the Scottish Government, all golfers must reside within the East Lothian local authority area.
