As 2020 draws to a close we are delighted to confirm that two of our most popular free-to-enter events will return in 2021 and invite all affiliated clubs to schedule their qualifying rounds NOW.
Scottish Golf R&A 9-Hole Challenge
The Scottish Golf R&A 9-Hole Challenge makes a welcome return next season with Milnathort, once again, playing host to the two-day National Final on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th June 2021.
The top two pairs from each day will qualify for an all-expenses paid experience of a lifetime playing in the R&A 9-hole Challenge Grand Final at Royal St Georges in July, just days before The 149th Open Championship, where they will compete against teams from across the world for a chance to win the overall title.
All you need to do to enter is schedule a 9-hole qualifier (stand alone or existing fixture) between January and 24th May with the first 200 pairs progressing to the National Final.
Entry is free for all affiliated clubs.
PING Scottish Mixed Championship
Now in its 4th year, the hugely popular PING Scottish Mixed Championship returns in 2021.
We invite affiliated clubs to schedule mixed foursomes qualifying events between now and 30th August with the winning pair going forward to the National Leaderboard. The Top 40 pairs will qualify for a great day out and some fantastic prizes, courtesy of our partners PING, at the Grand Final which will be played over the former Men’s and Women’s Scottish Open venue, Gullane No.1 on Friday 17 September.
Entries for both events will open on the Scottish Golf App and Website from 1st February 2021
