Following our recent AGM, Scottish Golf has published its 2020 Annual Review that looks back over an unprecedented year in our organisation’s history.
This included £1.2m in financial assistance for clubs, liaising with the government to keep playing the game safely through the pandemic, the launch of the World Handicap System and our ongoing utilisation of technology to support clubs through Zoom Webinars, Hive learning resources, VMS and the Scottish Golf App.
Karin Sharp, Chief Operating Officer at Scottish Golf, said, “2020 was an incredibly tough year, but one in which we delivered significant improvements in our focused services to our members. 2021 will be about continuing to build on these improvements and to support our affiliated clubs no matter what happens.”
